The Department of Performing Arts at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Dance for the FALL 2023 semester beginning September 6, 2023 and ending on December 8, 2023. This position is to teach DAN 100: Fundamentals of Dance.
Position Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach an advanced level dance technique class that represents their own cultural dance practice. All applicants must demonstrate their ability to share Rider University’s and the department’s goals of creating diversity, equity, and inclusion in dance training and demonstrated extensive professional teaching experience is required.
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Applicants who are fluent in non-Western dance forms are preferred, as are those with higher education teaching experience.
